I lived in Vegas for three years, I was born and raised on the East Coast so after the first couple of years I hated it…On the other hand my husband’s family still live there and they love it…It depends on what kind of life style you enjoy…You can’t go to a movie or go bowling without going through a casino. When I was tired of desert I had to go to a casino to get closer to nature (pretty ironic that the only places to see trees and flowers are in a casino)… lots of people are raising kids there as always there is a huge debate on whether it is OK to raise a family in that environment.
The other side is my in-laws love that life style, they love the casinos and the playing (people who live in Vegas don’t call it gambling they call it playing), you can travel the world by walking into one strip casino to another.
so I am sorry I didn’t give you a definite answer but Vegas is Ok depending on what kind of life style you enjoy
